We believe care includes transparency. These Terms outline how Sibyl is intended to be used and the responsibilities we each have.

Welcome to Sibyl. By using the Sibyl app (the “App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who We Are
Sibyl is operated by Percipience B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.

2. Who Can Use Sibyl
You must be 18 years or older to use Sibyl.
By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. What Sibyl Is (and Is Not)
Sibyl is designed to offer:
Emotional support
Reflective prompts and journaling tools
Informational content related to pregnancy loss and reproductive health
Sibyl is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service.
It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice.
4. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Sibyl uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate responses and prompts.
You are interacting with an AI system, not a human.
AI responses may be imperfect or incomplete.
AI content is supportive and informational only.
You should not rely on Sibyl for medical, mental health, or emergency decisions.
5. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
How you use the App
How you interpret and act on information provided by Sibyl
If you have medical or mental health concerns, you should seek help from a qualified professional.
If you feel unsafe or in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis support line immediately.
6. Accounts and Security
If you create an account:
Keep your login details secure
You are responsible for activity under your account
Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the App for unlawful purposes
Attempt to misuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the App
Use Sibyl in a way that could harm others or the system
8. Beta and Changes
Sibyl may be offered as an early or beta product.
This means:
Features may change or be removed
The App may contain bugs
Availability is not guaranteed
We may update or discontinue parts of the App at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights to the App, including content, software, and branding, belong to Percipience B.V. or its licensors.
You keep ownership of the personal content you submit (such as journal entries).
10. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Sibyl, you agree to that policy.
To the extent permitted by law:
Sibyl is provided “as is”
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or always available
We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from your use of the App
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Ending Your Use
You may stop using Sibyl at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
These Terms are violated
Required by law
Necessary to protect users or the system
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will notify you in the App or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
