How do you handle privacy?
Your privacy matters to us deeply, and we’ve designed Sibyl with that in mind from the start.
Sibyl is operated by Sibyl Care B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands, and we are fully subject to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Here’s what that means in practice:
Your data is stored in the EU on Google Cloud Platform servers in the Netherlands.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We will never sell your data or share it for advertising or marketing purposes.
You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing support@sibyl.care.
One thing to be aware of during this pilot: our team will be reviewing anonymised chat logs every 24 hours to make sure the app is operating as it should. This review is technical in nature and no identifying information is attached. Your full privacy policy is available at sibyl.care/privacy.
Is Sibyl a replacement for my doctor, midwife, or therapist?
No. Sibyl is not clinical care, and it is not a substitute for your care team.
Sibyl can offer clinically-reviewed information and emotional support to help you feel less alone and more informed during a deeply difficult time. What it cannot do is replace the professional care and expertise of your doctor, midwife, or therapist.
If at any point you are in crisis or need urgent support, please reach out to your care team or use the crisis resources available directly within the app. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
What is this pilot?
You’re part of something important. This is the first time Sibyl has worked directly with midwives and gynecologists to bring the app to the people it’s designed to support — and your participation helps us get it right.
We’re learning a great deal from this pilot, and your experience — what works, what doesn’t, what’s missing — genuinely shapes what Sibyl becomes. Thank you for being here.

You’ll receive occasional emails from us with updates and information.
At one week after downloading the app and again at six weeks, we’ll include a short survey. We’d really appreciate you taking a few minutes to respond — your feedback directly informs how we improve.
